G. Harvey Prints (Page 1)

       G. Harvey, is one of the Nation’s most recognized and collected living artists. G. Harvey’s roots do indeed lie in the American West; his early works concentrated on the landscapes and peoples of Central Texas, the Panhandle, New Mexico, and the Border. Yet those works, and more recent ones, go beyond the specifics of cactus, cowboys, and cattle to convey G. Harvey’s impressions—his concern with our heritage, with how our ancestors faced the challenge of change, with the importance of love for our friends, family and God that he sees as so central a part of life.

Gerald Harvey Jones, a native of the Lone Star State, loved to hear his grandfather tell of trail drives and his father's talk of boomtowns.  In the late 1950's Gerald and his wife, Patty, started an adventure in art that has left an indelible mark on the contemporary art scene in America.   G. Harvey’s popularity has been furthered with exhibitions at the National Archives, The Treasury Building, and Smithsonian Institute in Washington D.C.  He has received numerous awards for artistic merit and recognition for his contribution to the arts. His works are in private, corporate, and museum collections throughout the U.S., Europe, and Japan.
